Key features:

• Firefighting with or without foam: the tremendous watermist flow generated by the machine is ideal for large scale firefighting operations. It can accept up to 9% foam (pre-mixed). The airflow generated by the machine has lower oxygen content than the atmosphere’s, sufficient to stall the fire, yet safe for humans to breathe. It also provides cooling to objects in an effective way, preventing objects from catching fire, and cooling down an object on fire.

• The system with its high water thrust gives significant width which is used to provide a thermal shield to the objects. Dilution of polluting/toxic gases which are accumulated in the fire area can be driven out by high flow of upto 1,100 m3/second of airflow (near 4 million cubic meters of air per hour) with/without the watermist flow. This results in dilution of smoke, toxic gases and other types of pollution. The flow of watermist is also useful in washing down any escaping water binding gases (for example ammonia), due to the water droplet size of 400 microns the gases bind with the water droplets and are washed down with the water flow.

• Another application of this high performance machine is diluting driving out smoke accumulated in an enclosed area. The directed air flow of 1,100 m3/second of airflow (near 4 million cubic meters of air per hour) with/without the watermist flow towards the enclosed area (with one opening for accepting the flow of air and watermist from the TRS2500FOG and one opening for the exit of gases. This not only drives out smoke but also provides oxygen for humans trapped on the site by washing various components of smoke.
